Tuata’i/First

Group exhibition at the newly completed Lysaght Watt Gallery in Hawera Nov 24- Jan 25.

‘The inaugural exhibition at Lysaght Watt Gallery in Hāwera will showcase the diversity of artists in South Taranaki, featuring artworks that reflect the scope of contemporary art in the district.

Curated by South Taranaki District Council Arts Co-ordinator Michaela Stoneman, Tuata’i – First will feature works in a wide variety of mediums by 20 South Taranaki artists.’

A selection of Taranaki artists on show at Puke Ariki Museum. My works made from recycled plastic were selected on three occassions for this prestigious art event in New Plymouth.

This group exhibition centres itself around the Huia and its story.

Toi Gallery

This group exhibition centres itself around the Huia and its story. The sacred nature given to the Huia bird is long lasting, even beyond its extinction. Through ceramics, drawing, sculpture, photography, and mosaics, these artists resonate with the history of the Huia and the museum archives in which the Huia now reside.
