The native wood pigeon of kererū is a large, rotund bird with captivating multi-coloured iridescent feathers. This carving has been modelled from a moulted feather found close to my studio. It is a lesser wing feather and is predominantly a beautiful emerald green colour.
Feather measures 80 x 15 x 1cm and may be hung either vertically or horizontally on either d-ring fittings or key hole fittings- please specify preference.
