An individually hand crafted kererū tail feather made by Claire Jensen, Taranaki artist. This piece has been carved from a piece of salvaged matai timber and finished with many layers of acrylic paint and a final layer of iridescent green-purple to replicate the native wood pigeon of New Zealand.
It is fitted with a tri-ring for easy hanging indoors and measures 38 x 8 x 1cm. Piece may be dusted with a soft cloth if necessary. Not recommended for display in full sun or near heat.
