This Kōtare, or Sacred Kingfisher, tail feather is carved in matai and painted in iridescent blue-green colours. It measures 40 x 6 x 1cm and is fitted with a tri-ring for easy hanging indoors. 

This piece has been finished with a beeswax polish and may be dusted with a soft cloth. Best displayed away from direct heat or sun.
