Carved from a piece of salvaged rimu this piece represents a feather from the iconic tūī bird of New Zealand. Recently these birds have been repopulating the green areas around The Brown Bach Studio as a result of local pest control and re-vegetation of the surrounding area.

This piece measures 42 x 8 x 1 cm, is painted with iridescent acrylic paint and finished with beeswax polish, carving is ready be wall hung indoors. Use a soft cloth to dust item. See options for gifting.
