This wooden huia feather has been carved from a piece of salvaged matai timber, painted in durable acrylic and finished with a beeswax polish. A subtle iridescent green sheen has been applied to replicate that of the huia.
Feather measures 41 x 8 x 1cm, is fitted with a tri-ring for easy hanging indoors. Use a soft cloth to dust and avoid display in full sun or near heat. Beautiful as a stand alone piece or part of a collection.
